Champion Lacrosse Travel Teams

Levels/Teams
Champion offers travel team opportunities for boys in grades 4-11. For 2010, we are running the following levels: HS Elite, HS Varsity, U-15 (born after 1/1/95), U-13 (born after 1/1/97) and U-11 (born after 1/1/99).
Team Selections
Selection for our travel teams is done through an open tryout process. Any student of the appropriate age is able to participate at a tryout to be evaluated for team selection. Participants on previous Champion Lacrosse travel teams are also required to tryout.
Fees
Champion travel teams differ from many travel teams in this and other sports. Champion does not profit from the operation of this travel program. Over the past seven years, we have donated more than $10,000 to operate these teams at cost. Our objective is to help motivated Michigan players reach their potential - and prepare to play at the next level. The fee for each team is determined by dividing the actual costs such as tournament entry fees, direct expenses, uniforms, equipment and coaching by the number of players.
